Teacher Names
TEACHER NAMES IN TIMESTONE
Uploading a csv requires some specific formatting of teacher names.
Ideally we want the data to be “lastname, firstname” or only “lastname”
After submitting your csv, the uploader re formats all teacher names to include only a last name and - if provided - a first initial.
We do this to consistently organize students into folders/classrooms.
Anything other than the commonly accepted formats is problematic and will appear incorrect in NeoPack, Cam Cards and Folder names.
These examples demonstrate the end result after a teacher name auto-formats:
As illustrated above, each teacher name provided will result in a folder in NeoPack to group all of their students with their class.
This is important for class group photos and for printing/packaging students' photos in the lab - packages will likely be handed out to students by their Teacher so we want every student's order to go to the right classroom.
**If two teachers have the same last names and first name initial, the two classes will merge into one folder**
**For cases like this, it is best to replace any spaces with an underscore**
