Manager Roles
Entrusted with a leadership role, the Managers at Dorian Studio are responsible for overseeing an area(s) of responsibility and employees. They demonstrate the ability to successfully lead, oversee multiple business operations, and effectively communicate with coworkers. Some of the roles and responsibilities of a Dorian Manager include the following:
Daily Operations: The primary role of a manager is to ensure the daily functioning are operating effectively
Staffing: Managers proactively evaluate workloads and increase or decrease staff accordingly
Goal Setting: Managers articulates both short and long-term goals that align with the company's goals and objectives
Quality: Managers set quality thresholds and ensures these thresholds are continuously met
Evaluation: Managers evaluate data and employee performances. They provide both positive and constructive feedback to their employees
Assigning work: Managers will assign work to their employees according to the production schedule
Delegation: Effective Managers have confidence in their employees and delegate tasks according to the area's needs
Enforce policy: Managers enforce company policy to cultivate an environment that makes employees hold one another accountable for their actions
Motivate: As a leader, a Manager motivates staff and creates an environment where employees thrive
