Fragrance, Hygiene, and Attire
We strive to maintain a workplace environment that is conducive to efficiency and productivity and free from unnecessary distractions and annoyances. As part of that effort, our company generally requires employees to maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for the workplace setting and for the work being performed. Recognizing that employees and visitors to our offices/schools may have sensitivity or allergic reactions to various fragrant products please keep any odors mild. Please see your manager for any questions you may have.
Smoking
No smoking or other use of tobacco products is permitted in any part of company buildings, school buildings, or in vehicles owned, leased or rented by Dorian Studio. Employees may smoke outside in designated areas during breaks or where permitted by law.
Weapons
Weapons, of any kind, are forbidden on company premises, in a company or leased vehicle and/or when on a photo assignment.
Drugs/Alcohol
Dorian Studio, Inc (the company) intends to help provide a safe, drug-free work environment for our customers and employees. With this goal in mind, we are establishing this policy for all existing and future employees of Dorian Studio, Inc.
Dorian Studio explicitly prohibits:
The use, possession, solicitation for, or sale of narcotics or other illegal drugs, alcohol, or prescription medication without a prescription on company and/or customer premises while performing an assignment.
Being impaired or under the influence of legal or illegal drugs or alcohol away from the company or customer premises, when such impairment or influence adversely affects the employee's work performance, the safety of co-workers or of others, or puts the company's reputation at risk.
Possession, use, solicitation for, or sale of legal or illegal drugs or alcohol away from the company or customer premises, when such activity or involvement adversely affects the employee's work performance, the safety of co-workers or of others, or puts the company's reputation at risk.
Anti-Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Policy
Dorian Studio will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age (as defined by law) religion, sex, race, color, national origin, veteran status or physical impairment.
Dorian Studio prohibits workplace harassment defined as unwelcome or unsolicited speech or conduct based on race, sex, creed, religion, national origin, age, color, disability, veteran status or sexual orientation that creates a hostile work environment.
Dorian Studio will not impose a hardship, loss, benefit or penalty on an employee in response to:
Filing or responding to a bona fide complaint of discrimination or harassment.
Appearing as a witness in the investigation of a complaint.
Serving as an investigator of a complaint.
Complaint Procedure
Dorian Studio has established the following procedure for lodging a complaint of harassment, discrimination or retaliation. The company will treat all aspects of the procedure confidentially to the extent reasonably possible.
Try to resolve the issue with the person, talk to them letting them know how you feel and ask them to stop the behavior. If the issue is physical abuse, do not approach the person. If your attempt to resolve the issue yourself does not work, talk to your immediate supervisor.
If you are unable to find resolution through step one. Complaints should be submitted in writing to HR personnel. HR personnel may assist the complainant in completing a written statement and/or dictate the verbal complaint, if unable to submit in writing.
Upon receiving a complaint or being advised by a supervisor or manager that violation of this policy may be occurring, HR personnel will notify senior management and review the complaint.
HR personnel will initiate an investigation to determine whether there is a reasonable basis for believing that the alleged violation of this policy occurred.
During the investigation HR personnel, together with other management employees, will interview the complainant, the respondent and any witnesses to determine whether the alleged conduct occurred.
Upon conclusion of an investigation, HR personnel or other person conducting the investigation will submit a report of his or her findings to the complainant and respondent.

If you can’t lift an object…ask for help
If an unsafe work condition is noticed….report IMMEDIATELY to a manager!!
If you are injured or in a car accident; you must report to your manager and HR@dorianstudio.com IMMEDIATELY!!
