Installing Firmware
On a computer running Windows 10, the steps to get to the screen shown on the right are as follows:
Press Windows ( ⊞ ) + I and select Devices, then select Printers and Scanners
Select the Zebra ZXP Series 3 USB Card Printer, click Manage, and select Printing Properties.
Once you have reached this screen, click on "Device Settings" in the upper right-hand corner (highlighted by the red circle in image)
Next click on Tools
After clicking on "Tools" you will be brought to this screen. Here we want to find the firmware download section and click on "Select File".
After clicking on the icon, navigate to where you have downloaded the firmware file.
Once you have selected your firmware file, click on "Start Firmware Download"
After the printer has completed the firmware update you should be good to go.
Installing Driver
The first step would be to download the driver for the ZXP3. If you haven't already done that, the files are in the drive links provided at the top of this guide.
Find the location that you downloaded the driver file to and run it.
Select "Modify" then click "Next"
Click on "Install USB printer drivers"
Make sure to follow the on-screen instructions and hit Enter or click on the "OK" button
Click on "Next"
Click on "Next"
Click on "Finish"
For best results, after the driver is done installing, restart the computer you are using. Once you have logged back into the computer, turn on the printer.
