Cleaning the Printer (ZC300)
Just like the ZXP3 model, the ZC300 also can run a cleaning command to clean the rollers and other important parts of the machine.
This video is a great example of how to run the cleaning command and what you are looking for to make sure that everything is working as intended.
I have also written out the instructions if that works better for you.
Cleaning the Printer
On a computer running Windows 10, the steps to get to the screen shown on the right are as follows:
Press Windows ( ⊞ ) + I and select Devices, then select Printers and Scanners
Select the Zebra ZC300 Card Printer, click Manage, and select Printing Preferences.
Once you have reached this screen, click on "Help & Support" in the middle of the options bar (highlighted by the red circle in image)
Next, you will want to hit the "Clean Now" button.
After the printer has prepared for cleaning, the printer will prompt you to remove all the cards and ribbon from the machine.
Once you have removed the cards and ribbon, you will then be asked to insert a cleaning card into the card feed hopper.
The card will be fed into the machine and the printer will do its magic for about 15-20 seconds. When the printer stops making noises and spits the cleaning card back out, the printer has been cleaned successfully.
