Setting up Timestone
Intro to NeoPack Professional 4
NeoPack is the name of the application we use to access data in the Dorian databases.
We've nicknamed it "Timestone" and this is how it's setup:

Installing Timestone
Open File Explorer📁
Copy and paste \\archer\tsinstall into the folder path box
Open: InstallNeoPackPro(v4_9_230419).msi
a. The numbers after "(v" may differ
If your file explorer looks like the image to the right, proceed. Otherwise ask for help
If Windows Security stops you, select Run or More Info>Run Anyway
Accept terms + Install
Wait for installation then click Finish
Signing In
Use search in your taskbar to find "NeoPack Professional 4" and open it
The first time you open Timestone, you are prompted for a server:
The server computer name is "timestone-ls"
Every time Timestone is opened, it will prompt you to connect to a database. The instructions below will guide you through this dialog box.

After loading, Timestone will display the window to the left:
Host is "timestone-db"
Username is "timestone"
Password is provided by supervisor
Type "ug23-24" in the Database field to complete the next section
Check the "Remember password" box and click OK,
Minimize Timestone and proceed to Pathing sections below
Pathing
These steps are to point Timestone in the right direction when looking for mascots and camera card templates
Mascots
Create a shortcut on your desktop to the path below:
\\nas\groups\ID Card Department\Current\id_designs\mascots
Go back to Timestone and click "Open" in the top left,
CTRL + O also opens jobs
Type "9998" and select any of the jobs in the results list,
Hit "Ok" if you run into a pop up
Once loaded, double click the "Mascot" field in the bottom left
Click the "Select file ..." button
Make sure the box and first bullet at the bottom are checked
Navigate to your desktop and open the mascots folder
Choose any mascot (double click or select and hit the "Open" button)
Seeing a mascot in the preview box means you have done this section correctly and you can proceed to steps 9-11.
Otherwise, try again with a different mascot
Select the "Empty" button
Select the "OK" button
Exit Job by going to File>Close. Generally, you will always close jobs this way - so Timestone stays open and you won't have to reload it/sign in again
Now, next time a job needs a mascot assigned, Timestone will remember to open the Mascots folder after you hit "Select file..."
Proceed to the next section with Timestone open
Camera Card Templates
With timestone open,
Navigate to File> Options, (see image on right)
Select the "TNJ Paths" tab, then the "Template Files" tab and click "New"
Add the path:
\\nas\GROUPS\Data Entry\UG TNJ PREP 2024

This is where Camera Card Templates are storedClick “OK”
Exit Timestone to close the application, this is to apply the settings we just changed so make sure all windows are closed before proceeding.

Download this "TNJ" - (TNJ files are covered on)
Double click the TNJ file from your downloads folder and accept the same log in settings from before
Or, open Timestone, accept the log in settings, and navigate to File>TNJ file>Open TNJ file to open any TNJ filesHit Shift+F7 or navigate to:
Mode>Item sheetsChoose the "New Item Sheet" button next to the Save icon

Select “All” folders and hit "Next >"
If your TNJ paths were set up correctly, you will see "Camera Card_2024", "SEN Card_2024", etc..
Click on "Camera Card_2024" and match the same settings to the left
Click "Next" and then "Finish" on the following screen
Click "Print" and ensure the printer is pathed to your desktop.
