COMPANY HISTORY & VALUES
Dorian Studio was founded in Spokane, Washington in 1914. We are a family business; owned and operated by Joe and Yvonne Mark and their three children - Holly, John, and Jake. Dorian provides school photography and yearbook services in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
STANDARD RULES & REGULATIONS
Dress code
Polos or dress shirts/blouses are the preferred attire. Color is branch dependent, please check with your manager if there are specific colors required.
Business casual dress is acceptable and includes: slacks, knee-length skirts or dresses, collared shirts or blouses
Employee badges must be worn at all times during shoots
Jeans are acceptable for ACT shoots only
Athletic wear and open-toed shoes are unacceptable
Office Access
Use your key, code or fob to access the studio equipment
Notify your branch manager immediately if you lose your key or fob
Professionalism
As a guest in the school, help to accommodate schools with their requests as they are made. If you are ever uncertain about a specific request a school may have, contact your branch manager for guidance.
Above all else, create a fun, welcoming and respectful environment for all the different customers that we work with on a daily basis.

PRIOR TO SHOOT

UG/CG = two sets of cards
PP = no cards (unless we are photographing everyone)
PP/CG = one set of cards (two if we are photographing everyone)

GRAD/CG = two sets of cards

Summary page with job information and ID card designs (UG events only)
Order forms with the correct pricing and packages noted by package code (eg: OU1)
Review the calendar event
You will receive event invitations about a week in advance
Accept the invite so that it appears on your personal calendar
Email your manager immediately if you have a scheduling conflict
Verify that the times at the top of the event match the details within the event, notify your Office Manager if there is a discrepancy
Review the event when you are first assigned, and then again the night before in case the location or times have changed
Reach out to your Office Manager if clarification is needed
End of Day
Please be aware that the end time of each picture day is approximate
There may be unexpected delays that will extend the day
Break down, paperwork, and drop shipping will add time
Please do not schedule after-work activities before 5:30pm to avoid any conflicts
Stock supplies within your kit if needed
Pens, rubber bands, zip-ties, batteries, envelope bottoms, pink camera cards, combs, parent helper coupons
Check equipment
You need your golf bag, bucket, light case, backpack, printer case, and supply tubs. Make sure you have all of your equipment per inventory list/photo.
