Using "Pano Tool" - Creating a file for Pano upload

By installing the AutoCleaner, you have also installed a package of other macros that will aid you in your data cleaning. One of those tools is the "Pano Tool".

The Pano tool allows you to divide your data by grade and extract only the grades that you want for a Pano job. You can do this with up to 3 grades at a time and it will save you some time and headache when creating the files for these jobs.

The macro can only be accessed by creating a button for it on your quick access toolbar or the ribbon in Excel. To do this visit the instructions here.

By using the Pano Tool, you will create another sheet in your document only containing subjects with the grade value(s) you selected on the previous screen.

The last step in creating data for a Pano job is to save the sheet that you have just created as a .csv (this will allow you to save just 1 sheet instead of the whole workbook).

Use the job ID and date from the ACT/Pano tracking sheet and give the file a new name. You will also want to add "[Grade] PANO" at the end of the file name (ex. 1-4-24 PHO 464024114607 8th PANO)

Save the file into the processed data folder for the school and upload that file into the Timestone job with the same job ID.
