JOB SUB TYPES
Original Day - first picture day
Make Up Day - picture day only for students/staff missed on the first picture day (no retakes)
Retake Day - last picture day to include any absent and/or new students/staff as well as those wanting a new image. A retake image replaces the original for school records, the yearbook, and a package is automatically printed based off their first picture day order.
Staff Day - only staff are photographed
ID Only - images are only taken for the purpose of ID cards (i.e. Volunteers). These jobs are not turned into the lab. If any service items are needed, use a different job type.
Yearbook Only - only for ACT jobs. Images sent to the lab for color correction only. No ordering available and no service items produced.

Price sheets/books are the corresponding prices for a package code; these are branch-by-branch (this is the first half of the coding before the underscore).
Package codes are used to indicate which packages are offered; these are universal across all branches (this is the second half of the coding after the underscore)
Current price sheets/package codes can be found on the server at nas/groups/Finishing/Job Type/School Year
Package Codes
Package codes are 2-3 characters
They are universal across all branches; a UE package code will have the same package contents at any branch
They start with a letter that indicates the job type
A = Activity
C = Cap & Gown
G = Groups
P = Personality
U = Undergrad
They will end with a number if groups are included
0 = no class groups (for spring & grad only; undergrad doesn't use a '0')
1 = class groups
2 = composites
Price Books
Price books start with the corresponding branch letter
Boise = B
Dallas = F
Denver = R
Las Vegas = L
Los Angeles = A
Oakland = O
Phoenix = X
Portland = P
Sacramento = C
Seattle = S
Spokane = D
Tri-Cities = T
Universal = U (used by multiple branches)
The second letter corresponds with the job type
A = Activity
C = Cap & Gown
G = Groups
P = Personality
U = Undergrad
The price book will end with a number that differentiates it from the others (BA1, BA2, etc.)
Package A from package code UE could cost $55 in Portland and $50 in Spokane, but the contents are the same
JOB LIFECYCLE
Creation
Jobs are created in Timestone automatically after the job status has been changed to confirmed.
Expiration
When a job expires the following happens:
The image is uploaded to the Vault
Online ordering is no longer available for the job
A 14 day period is provided to allow for all orders to be processed prior to images and data being deleted. If the orders are processed quicker than 14 days, the images and data are deleted at that time.
Images and data are permanently deleted from:
Databases
File Servers
Salesforce (including related cases)
An email marketing campaign is sent prior to a job expiring to give customer’s one last chance to order.
In Salesforce on the Job object, the job expiration field shows the date a job will expire. In general
Activity jobs photographed in the current school year expire on Dec 31st
Cap & Gown jobs photographed in the current school year expire on Dec 31st
Class Group jobs photographed in the current school year expire on Dec 31st
Personality Jobs photographed in the current school year expire on Dec 31st
Pano Jobs photographed in the current school year expire on Dec 31st
Undergraduate jobs photographed in the current school year expire on June 30th
Senior jobs photographed in the current school year expire on June 30th in 5 years
Vault
The vault is a long term archival system that stores a copy of the subject's image and a very limited amount of data for identifying the subject. The subject may order a digital download from the vault. That is the only product that can be ordered.
